Is my JSON data uploaded anywhere?
No. The JSON to XML conversion runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. The page works offline once it has loaded, and TableForge never receives your data.
How large a file can I convert?
The limit is your device's memory. Files of tens of megabytes (hundreds of thousands of rows) convert fine on a typical laptop. The preview shows the first 200 rows, but the download always contains every row.
Does the converter keep special characters and commas?
Yes. Fields containing commas, quotes or line breaks are quoted and escaped according to each format's rules, and text is read and written as UTF-8, so accents, CJK characters and emoji survive.
