Your data stays in your browser
Every converter, table generator, viewer, validator and extractor on TableForge runs as JavaScript on your device. Files you open are read with the browser’s File API and are never uploaded. There are no accounts and no database.
The one exception: the AI table generator
When you press “Build table” on the AI table generator, the text you entered is sent to our server and on to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to produce the table. We don’t store that text. The only thing kept is your IP address, briefly and in memory, to enforce a request limit. Don’t submit confidential or personal data there.
What is saved on your device
To save you re-entering settings, TableForge stores converter options and the contents of the table generator grids in your browser’s localStorage, under keys that start with tf:. This data never leaves your device.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and referrers in aggregate. It does not see anything you paste or open.
